Red Wine Mee-Sua! If this has already gotten your attention, then yes you should definitely come to this restaurant! Working in Sentul area means that I have to always be looking out for new lunch places here. However, surprisingly that's not difficult at all! I have always thought that there are pretty limited food choices here, but no. In fact, there are a lot of hidden food gems in this area and Chin Heng would be one of them. Actually, the restaurant is not only famous for their red wine mee-sua, they are also very well known for their pork chop rice here! They cook their food in the very traditional Fu Zhou style here - so you'd expect the pork chop to taste a lot like the Marmite sauce and LP sauce - very nostalgic! That's one of the reasons I like the place, it always remind me of home cooked food back in Ipoh! Another favourite of mine at this place is their red wine mee-sua. However, if you are not a fan of mee-sua, but still craving for red wine chicken, go ahead and request for it without mee-sua. That's what I usually do. Their red wine chicken here is really really good - very thick broth, very tasteful and it really gives you a kick when you drink the red wine soup! Also, they serve really big portion of the red wine soup to you. You won't be getting a small bowl of but a bowl which is even good for sharing between 2 or 3! Prices of the their foods here are pretty fair, even though lately the portion of their pork chop rice has gotten a little smaller. Do refer to the price list that I have attached in my photos. But, for the quality of food that's provided, I have no complaint! Their rice here are very fragrant and fluffy too, so, do come to this place if you are a traditional Chinese who likes rice dishes a lot! Apart from all these, they are actually known for selling good pows too! Pows that are juicy and has a lot of fillings in it, especially for their meat pows! Fair price too! Wanna see how tempting their pows are? - Refer to my photos. The place could get a little bit crowded during lunch hours. So, do come early if you don't want to wait too long for your food! Parking isn't too hard here, there'd be plentiful parking spaces right outside the shop. Overall, fair price, good food, okay location. It's just that sometimes it might get a bit warm here, but for the good food that they serve, it's all worth it!

Among the standout dishes here, the Red Wine Mee-Sua takes center stage. This dish has garnered significant attention from regulars and newcomers alike. If noodles aren’t your preference, you can savor the same delightful red wine chicken served in a hearty broth, perfect for sharing with friends.

An equally popular item is the Pork Chop Rice, renowned for its moisture and flavor, enhanced by a nostalgic hint of Marmite sauce and LP sauce. Each bite encapsulates the warmth of home-cooked meals reminiscent of Ipoh.
